The 2017 MLL All-Star Game was a jam-packed weekend, full of exciting sights and sounds for our players and fans. Check out some of the behind-the-scenes action of one of the biggest MLL events of the year from MLL Press Box.

New Call-to-action

High temperatures didn't hold up pre-game media obligations for 'The Beast' Greg Gurenlian and MLL Commissioner David Gross.

The players took some time on Friday to visit patients in the pediatric wing of UC Davis Medical Center. It was a great afternoon to hang out, play some air hockey, and work on their coloring skills.

The competition never stops with these guys - players competed in a FlingGolf game against one another, where Jeremy Sieverts walked away with the first-place finish for closest to the pin and longest fling. Eric Law came in second and Brian Phipps took home third place.

The free youth clinic and MLL Skills Competition at Cherry Island Sports Complex was a success, awarding three players a prize for their specialty and allowing fans to get some one-on-one tips from the pros themselves. Congratulations to Will Manny, Connor Buczek, and Scott Ratliff for showing off their skills on the field.

Players hit the field for a quick workout in the sun as game day was looming right before them.

(Below left) Cannons faceoff man Joe Nardella was challenged by a player in the Oakland Youth Lacrosse program to square off with him, and he happily obliged the player with a free lesson.

On Saturday it came down to Team Stripes versus Team Stars - who was gonna win? The locker rooms were fully stocked with everything the players needed and when it came time for it, the All-Stars were ready to hit the field. In the end, Team Stripes took home the W and Myles Jones earned himself the All-Star MVP title.

We also can't forget about Gurenlian's pump-up speech to the team during half-time....wonder how many people used this as motivation that night?
