The 2018 MLL All-Star Game is set to showcase the premier talent in the world as the MLL All-Stars will face Team USA on June 28, just prior to the FIL World Lacrosse Championships in Netanya, Israel. Historic Harvard Stadium in Boston will host the All-Star Game for the fifth time in its storied history and league personnel gathered on Tuesday at the Warrior Ice Arena, home to the Boston Bruins, to announce details for the highly anticipated matchup.

MLL Commissioner Sandy Brown made his first official appearance since taking the top job at MLL. He said, "One of my priorities in my role as commissioner is to really promote the quality of the athletes we have on the field. These are some of the greatest athletes in any sport."



Five-time MLL All-Star and Team USA member Rob Pannell said, "It's always exciting when the All-Star Game is in Boston, then to have the All-Star Game be in Boston against Team USA brings it to that next level. I think as players we always look forward to coming up to Boston and playing at Harvard...For us to be able to bring that up a level and bring Team USA in and aid us in our preparation [for the World Championships] against the MLL All-Stars and the great players that they are, the fans are certainly in for a treat that night."



Lance Basler, General Manager for Team USA, noted the importance of this year's tournament in Israel and what it means for the sport. "With 48 countries competing, this year's World Championship represents the continuous growth of lacrosse and is also an important step towards our sport's ultimate goal of inclusion in the Olympics." 



Boston Mayor Marty Walsh delivered a video message to the press conference, stating, "We are proud, once again, to host the All-Star Game in our city, and I'm excited that this year Major League Lacrosse is partnering with the Boston Parks Department. They're going to help us host a youth tournament at Millennium Park at the end of June. And I want to thank Major League Lacrosse for their partnership and providing great opportunities for our young people."
