The stars and stripes were celebrated this past weekend in Sacramento, Calif., where MLL hosted the 16th annual All-Star Game. The best of the best showed up ready to play and ready to dominate at Papa Murphy's Park. Besides feeling truly honored to be named an All-Star in the league, the players enjoyed a weekend of playing alongside past and present teammates and interracting with fans.

New Call-to-action

It's tough to mention the 2017 All-Star Game without also mentioning Myles Jones. Being named this year's MVP, Jones helped bring Team Stripes to victory by scoring the winning shot in overtime. Making his first appearance in the league's All-Star Game, the Chesapeake Bayhawks midfielder definitely made this one memorable and shared some of his favorite moments via Instagram. Looking forward to see what else Jones accomplishes in the future.

Secured the bag. Great first All-Star game experience and hopefully the first of many. #TeamStripes

Could be a Photoshop genius, may also be some real-life Obama action; either way this is pretty cool! #MylesJones

Obama picked himself up a dope MJ shirt, you can too. Link in bio!

Normally playing against one another, the Pannell brothers got to share an All-Star Weekend side-by-side this time. Both representing Team Stripes, Rob and James Pannell got the W and shared their excitement with family, friends, and lots of fans!

I think it is safe to say that three-year-old Ryder stole the show in Kevin Rice's Instagram post this past weekend. The Atlanta Blaze attackman wanted to get an autograph from the little boy in the yellow shirt, because he is bound to be a professional one day. Keep your eyes peeled for these two fans in the future, MLL can't wait to draft you guys.

The All-Star game made Jeremy Sieverts' worlds collide when he played alongside teammates from the Denver Outlaws, University of Maryland, and McDonough High School. The lacrosse community stays tight from high school to college, and all the way up to pros; Sieverts' experience is living proof.

Eric Law reminded us of what an honor it is to be an All-Star and what an eventful weekend it was out in Sacramento. From FlingGolf and the Fan Zone to the patriotic-themed game, the MLL All-Star event brought the entire lacrosse community together and helped continue to grow the game.
