Who knew MLL players were such big fans of Game of Thrones? Especially the boys from New York. With the the show's new season premiering Sunday night, Twitter went crazy with their excitement, predictions, and reactions. The Lizards added their own twist to their social media including jokes, GIF's and special filters - check it out in the Social Media Roundup!

New Call-to-action

New York Lizards faceoff man Greg Gurenlian compared himself to Conan O'Brien with this GIF, showing how exciting he was about the show's premiere. The Beast is ready for GOT.

Winter is here with fellow Lizards teammate Paul Rabil. He shared his excitement using a special Snapchat filter showing snow, wind and blue eyes - transforming him into a well-known GOT character: 'A White Walker.'

That first Twitter post was just a warm-up for when the premiere began though - Rabil posted a GIF featuring a famous scene in the show and wrote "Do not disturb." GOT premiere was serious for these guys.

On the opposite side of excitement, New York Lizards defenseman Ryan Flanagan shared how he just wants to understand the show and enjoy it so he can join in on the jokes with his GOT-obsessed teammates. #WinterIsComing

Lizards defenseman Kyle Hartzell posted this news article about Texas' potential new law about carrying a sword. The announcement of this could not have been any better with GOT premiering. Hoping Texas doesn't go too far back in time and turn into a modern day version of GOT.

Just in time for #got7
