The 2018 MLL Collegiate Draft presented by Cascade marks the first major event of the 2018 MLL season, falling just three days before the first games of the year. It is being held at the US Lacrosse Headquarters for the first time ever. - Syracuse has had more players drafted into MLL than any other school in league history with 61. Maryland and Virginia are tied for the second-most players with 52 apiece. Johns Hopkins ranks fourth with 49 players drafted.
- The ACC has had 222 players drafted in league history, more than any other conference.
- 37 players in MLL history have been drafted from Division III schools. Salisbury leads all DIII schools with 12 players drafted.
- The Boston Cannons pick first in this year's draft, the first time they have had the top selection since 2008 when they picked Paul Rabil from Johns Hopkins.
